MY EXPERIENCE DURING THE 123RD HIGH SCHOOL DAY!
Our section went to different kinds of booths to celebrate the 123rd High School Day and it was so much fun to experience this event with my teacher and classmates! The first booth that we visited was great because they sell appetizing merchandise such as buko shakes and raw mangoes. I bought one bottle of buko juice and reconsidered myself in buying one because there was too much ice in it and was expensive. However, the creaminess of the buko juice was enough to convince myself that it was worth the money. By the way, my friend Jansen gave his buko juice to me, maybe he was tired of slurping the juice from the thick layer of ice or he just disliked the taste of it. I took it without a second thought and began slurping the remaining juice of the two bottles ( I had a sore throat later). They also sell decorative plants that are very pleasant to see.
We then proceed to the next booth which contains amusing minigames that if someone succeeds to win, he/she will be awarded with random rewards. The game was darts and if you manage to hit a balloon or a image, you will win. My classmates started playing the game, it was fun to watch my classmates as they ultimately fail in hitting their target. I was encouraged to play as well as I thought to myself that my archery skills would be wasted if I don't participate, I was very confident that I will win the prize! Every throw was a failure. As my friends laughed, I noticed that there was a gimmick in the game, the darts that they gave had a dull needle and it was too heavy to throw. We were scammed.
We roamed around the campus and saw numerous teachers cooking outside the PAGCOR building. The aroma of the ingredients being simmered in a steel pan was surely delicious. We wanted to stay a little longer to enjoy the fragrance of what they are cooking and we hoped that maybe they can give us samples of their product but a random teacher shoo us away. Because there was a risk that some of our hair strands would fall in the food or the teacher was having a bad day and lashed out on us. We left for the sake of ourselves.
We then went to another booth where we took photos of ourselves being convicted, it makes me anxious that our image fits well of being a criminal........ I really want to deny it but it really does fit well!
Sadly enough, I didn't manage to have anymore footage. Overall it was a fun experience to have with my friends and classmates, it will remain as a memory of all of us being together as we will take different paths in our senior years. Time really is cruel, as soon as we enjoy ourselves being together, the day that we will be separated became less distant.... It was a great experience, it really was! If you guys are reading this now, I really cherish the times we were all together! I get that there are some circumstances that are complex but let us all put that aside and enjoy our remaining time as junior highschoolers!
