INDIGENOUS PEOPLES ARE SUPPOSED TO BE VALUED WITH UTMOST RESPECT

Indigenous people are considered to be important to our community since they preserve the unique language, knowledge and beliefs that we once exhibit in the past. They are commonly described as primitive and unsocialized group of people since they proceed to live near the shore and inside dense jungles which they are capable of hunting wild animals using ancient weapons such as daggers and blowpipes. They respect their own culture and prefer to live this way since this is what they consider as normal.

They have a unique clothing depending on which tribe they belong to. It is full with amazing patterns and vibrant colors that attracts the human eye. They are kind to others as long as their privacy are respected, they would naturally welcome you towards their homes. Speaking of houses, their houses have unique structures that could withstand calamities to an extent since they use indigenous resources such as limestone and bamboo. They are resilient towards calamities and prepare themselves to avoid further casualties.

By commemorating the indigenous peoples month from October 1-30. They manage to appeal their culture and socialize with other communities showing of their unique styles without discrimination from other cultures. Their beliefs were respected and preserve, what they are now are the remains of the forgotten history of what our ancestors once were. I am thankful towards their diligence to preserve our history until modern times, I hope that they would continue their legacy so that the past will never be forgotten.
