CHILDREN ARE SUPPOSED TO BE LOVED, NOT NEGLECTED

                        


  Children are supposed to be loved with affection and care. They are not supposed to witness violence and brutality since they are weak and fragile, they are not supposed to experience traumas that may haunt them every night, they are not supposed to feel that they are worthless and they need guidance from their guardians since they are not capable enough to act independently in this world full of danger.




  Some parents consider violence as discipline, spanking their children if they don't behave properly. It  happens worldwide that also includes the Philippines. However, I don't favour this way of discipline since it hurts the child in a  physical and mental manner that may lead them traumatize for eternity causing them to hold a grudge to their parents. Scared that they may criticize him/her, they would naturally avoid their parents which would potentially cause them to be distant from them. This experience would potentially lead to rebellion that is very harmful towards the family and the kid itself.

   
   Children are forced to do manual labour because they are neglected from their parents. They need to earn enough money to fill their empty stomachs with food. They don't have the freedom to live simply as a kid since they are born from poverty filled with hunger and sympathy.




   This behavior can't be avoided but it can be minimized so that less children would suffer from the effects of violence. Every children deserved love and respect, to play outside with their peers and friends, to learn at schools and to live rightfully as a human-being.

INDIGENOUS PEOPLES ARE SUPPOSED TO BE VALUED WITH UTMOST RESPECT

           Indigenous people are considered to be important to our community since they preserve the unique language, knowledge and beliefs that we once exhibit in the past. They are commonly described as primitive and unsocialized group of people since they proceed to live near the shore and inside dense jungles which they are capable of hunting wild animals using ancient weapons such as daggers and blowpipes. They respect their own culture and prefer to live this way since this is what they consider as normal.   They have a unique clothing depending on which tribe they belong to. It is full with amazing patterns and vibrant colors that attracts the human eye. They are kind to others as long as their privacy are respected, they would naturally welcome you towards their homes.
